His comfortable, matter-of-fact delivery lends itself well to documentaries. His facility with foreign accents and characters has lent itself to productions for outside the U.S.
Experience
On-camera and voiceover work since 1993, copywriting/editing since 1992.
Training
After a 23-year career with American Airlines, he found voiceover to be a highly satisfying creative outlet and decided to concentrate in that area. With that in mind, he works with Nakamoto Productions, a major force in voiceover in the Sacramento area, continuing his development, evolving his talent. In intensive voiceover workshops and recording/coaching sessions. He’s constantly stretching his limits to upgrade current skills and develop new ones. His extensive military and airline professional background lend a highly professional approach to his voiceover work.
Background
Began working in audio/video media in 1992, when asked to serve as a media representative for his pilots group. Was professionally trained by Spaeth Communications for this role, which entailed on-camera interviews providing commentary and background information as well as working with union officials and general counsel, writing official position papers for submittal to Congress. After writing an editorial published in the San Francisco Chronicle shortly after 9-11, was asked to appear on several morning news segments at KTVU/FOX TV to provide commentary covering various aviation and airline security issues.
